Tools that run in your browser

56 tools work entirely on your device: your browser reads the file, does the work and saves the result. The file is not sent to us or anyone else. These are:

• PDF security: Sign PDF, Compare PDF and PDF Metadata & Privacy
• Edit images: Crop Image, Rotate Image and Change DPI
• Convert images: Image Converter, JPG to PNG, PNG to JPG, JPG to WebP, WebP to JPG, PNG to WebP, WebP to PNG and AVIF to JPG

The size and platform versions of these tools (such as Compress to 50KB or Resize for TikTok) run in your browser too.

Moving a file to the next tool

When you drop a file on the homepage or use “Continue with” after a result, the file is handed over inside your browser's memory. It isn't uploaded and is gone when you close the tab.

Analytics and cookies

On getresize.com we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which tools they use and how they found us. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and receives information like the pages you view, your approximate location, your browser and device. It never receives your files or what's in them.

Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser; every tool keeps working.

The site also remembers a couple of preferences, such as light or dark theme and whether the tools sidebar is folded, in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device.

Hosting and logs

The website is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web service, it may keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP address, time and the address requested, to keep the service running and protect it from abuse. Those logs don't contain your files.

What we don't do

• We don't have accounts, so there is no profile of you.
• We don't sell, rent or share personal data for advertising.
• We don't keep your files or use them to train AI models.

Questions and requests

Because we don't keep files or accounts, there is usually nothing stored about you to access or delete. For analytics, use the opt-out above. For anything else, email contact@getresize.com.
